After the expiration date will we see beta 2 or a final
version?

We should see a beta 2 between now and the expiry date, lets hope soon, July
31, it so far. The final version will be licensed to all registered Windows
users.

there's no beta 2 coming, it's going to be a finish and
release August. overall major improvement on the
interface and functionality.

Yes it will be free, although it is also going to be part of several
subscription services--one for home users, called OneCare, and one for
enterprise users.
