What format to save movie maker video

I have made my video with movie and have read every thing
I could but am still a litle confused. After the making
of the movie, what format do I want to save it as if I
want to burn it so I may play it on a dvd player. I am
using nero ultra and do I need to purches the plug in to
do this thanks
