what does this error message mean?

I am trying to add video clips to my movie maker and keep getting a pop up
saying "one or more arguments are invalid". I have NO idea what this means or
how to fix it. Can anyone help me? Thank you!

that's common when you try to import an MPEG-2 file that doesn't work in
Movie Maker.... see the Import Movie Source Files > Video > MPEG-2 page of
my website for some conversion tips.
