What does 'System_web has more than 32 directories' mean

Hi all, When trying to publish updated pages to my web site, i keep getting
the error message 'System_web had more than 32 directories' and it wiont load
the new pages. Any ideas.

Sounds like a server constraint - too many directories
Contact your host for clarification
