first of all - i hope that this posting goes into the right subforum here - i guess that SingleBoard-Computer-questions could fit here: so i post it here - plz. set me straight if not.

my question is: What do you use your R-Pi for -which Projects are you planning!?
well there are always the top 3 suggestions for what one could use their Raspberry Pi for that generally follow suit with other Pi projects, but what are you using them for?
a. low power home server for samba jobs
b. NAS
c. home assistant,
d. pihole,
e. motion eye hub,
f. multimedia streaming
additionally: are you utilizing any of the newer additions or speeds that you may use on the 5 versus other models?
The RAM-extension it is pushing the Pi single board computers beyond an 8GB limit for RAM. Which projects so you start now - which…..?
new use-cases come to my mind: with 16 GB of RAM, the Raspberry Pi 5 is no longer only for learning-tasks: It opens up new possibilities for more demanding Jobs and applications e.g. :
a. advanced Multimedia streaming: With 4K HDMI and also with the more RAM and
b. the Raspberry Pi 5 becomes an excellent option for media streaming servers or
c. or for other Projects like a Home server and NAS....
Would love to see what people are doing to gather some ideas.
do you have any ideas - that you want to realize with the new Pi (5)!? Perhaps we can share some ideas and inspirations here.
