What do you do if....

Depends what computer I'm on.... if it's one of the servers I panic / cry / hit a wall, reboot it and prey to God that I haven't killed and am causing thousands pounds of loss a minute..... in 2 weeks this wont happen ever again... finishing of the virtual setup with automatic image booting. (I don't honestly cry etc but I feel like it). Then when it's doing stuff I have a smoke to calm me nerves.
Workstations.... I just reboot it.
My test rig.... I just shrug.
My gaming rig.... I say FFS man and reboot.
My gaming rig whilst online.... I panic and get it back up asap.

Your computer crashes??
More info please as our mind reader if off duty today!

What are the pc specs & operating system?

What were you doing at the time the pc crashed?

Did you get any messages on the screen etc?

Mine crashed last night.

Would it boot up in Safe Mode or any of the other options, No it would not.

So I switched it off. Watched telly. Went to bed.

Woke up and the pc works again. I guess it just needed a rest.

You could claim off the insurance if it is the other computer drivers fault? it should be a matter of no problem with the claim and no loss of no claims discount.:D Bloody drivers:lol:

8 days is REALLY good.
Have a pat on the back & a free pint of cyber space beer on me!

Always happy whenever there is a problem with my pc for following reasons -

1) I never used to store data on drive C
2) Always stood first to take daily backup of total pc
3) thank god to give another chance to study and experience
the newest problem and trying to solve myself
4) A new chance to contact (in case I fail to repair) global friends
just like you for a help

What is more i need?

Well, there's a loaded question eh? :D

Last time that actually happened was a few days ago, personally I replaced the power supply but hey, whatever it takes

If it is one of me laptops, I shrug my shoulders and go rooting through the endless Ac*r parts bin I have...If it is my Mac, I start to sweat and shake uncontrolably as they cost a fortune to repair..If it is my desktop PC, i'll sh*t myself as a freind is currently using it to run a data base on for a rather huge website and for every minute its down the ££££'s are been lost..

But seriously if something crashes, start with the most obvious things first..
