I have a Gateway with a AMD Athlon 64X2 Processor 5000+ Dual Core 64-bit
processor with AMD 64 Technology. 2.6GHz, 2 x 512 KB L2 Cache, 2000 MHz
system bus. with a 320 GB SATA II Hard Drive and Dual Channel 2048 MB DDR2
Memory

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium

How do I tell what I have 32 or 64 bit

START menu
Right-click on COMPUTER|PROPERTIES
 
Right click on "Computer".

Go to properties. To the right of "System Type" it will tell you.
