Hi,
I installed a program, then uninstalled it. There problem is tha the
program seemed to have left some "droppings" somwhere that causes errors
upon windows startup.

I have tried to figure-out how the systems determines what background
processes to start upon startup becasue I think if I can get the program
to start trying to start one of the lft-over components of the program I
uninstalled that the error messages I get (when I boot up/startup) will
go away. That is, I want to stop WINDOWS XP from trying to start this
particular program.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks

Paul

Well first have a look in your startup folder in your start menu if not
there then load
This program "msconfig.exe" just run it from your run box and goto the
startup tab
that lists most programs that load on windows startup
