What color printer for Mac-PC home environment?

We have both Macintosh and Windows machines.
What is the best printer for occasional photo printing at home? Nothing
spectacular - 4x6s mostly.
(We do our "heavy duty" printing at Coscto for 19c/picture).

I'd recommend the Epson or Canon six color inkjets for that purpose. You
can pick one up that will output 8x10's for about $150 these days.

Yes, I finally picked up i960 at Best Buy today, and I LOVE it. The very
first picture I printed on a sheet of Photo Paper Pro (which was included)
turned out simply amazing!
Now, I wonder where I can buy that kind of paper at a discount?
