what causes a buzzing out of speakers

what would cause a sound to come out of my speakers?? I am on outlook right
now nothing else...every few seconds it sounds like there is a fly stuck in
the speakers?? not a constant buzzing?
 
I have seen it where its caused by the sound card you have in your PC. I
would try different speakers first if you can barrow some. My $$ is on the
sound card.

Loose wire? Other electronics too close to speakers?

I agree with Sharon,sometimes one of the wires on my external speakers backs
out ever so slightly and a buzzing sound comes through.
