I have tried these items; it is none of them.
I have some more information however:

Aloow Edits Yes
Allow Deletions Yes
Allow Additions Yes
Recordset Type Dynaset
Record Locks No Locks
The Macro performs a filter on the table.
Also, it is a linked table.
Any other ideas?

table directly? Usually this is YES, but it's worth
checking.
b. If you are using a query behind
the form, check to make sure the query is updatable. Can
you enter and save a new record in the query?
c. Take the macro out and open the
form without it. Does this solve the problem? If so, the
macro is holding things up.
