What I have:

peer-to-peer network through d-link router which further connected to
dsl modem. About 15 workstations in network wtih xp home edition
installed on about 5-6 m/c and xp professional installed on the others.

What I want to do:
To give access of 3 deidicated workstations remotely.

I tried vcn, but it only allows me to connect one m/c, since I have
only one ip address of my dsl. How do I connect all 3 work stations
same time remotely?

Thanks.

Assign custom ports for each workstation or use VPN.

XP Home, remote options is Third Party only.
VNC (Tight or Ultra VNC) is a good option.

Change the listenong port on the machine and forward the port request
through your router appropriately.
So if you have one listening on 5900, another on 5910 and another on 5920..
Then you just forward each of those ports to the appropriate IP address
behind the router using the built in forwarding mechanism on the router
itself.

Then you change what port you are trying to get to you from the VNC Viewer
and use the public IP of the router and you are in.
