So, my trial period for NOD32 is finally up.
Am I impressed? quite frankly yes and no.
Sure, it caught a few things but with my previous pritection, I didn't
suffer any attacks.
My system seems faster with it enabled and I don't get internet connectivity
problems.
At 25 Euros/machine, it would cost quite a bit to get protection for all 3
of my machines - especially when two of them aren't used for making money.
Particular gripes really concern the way that the reporting doesn't state
whether exploit.can.2003-0533 was cleaned/quarantined or deleted... left me
feeling naked there for a while - especially as it didn't report/display any
warnings,
Still, I quite like it. It's a tad complicated to set up all the profiles
for deep scanning of all files but there are some reassuring options there.
I think I'm best off buying a single 2 year license for my main machine
which I really need paid for protection on and using avg on my hobby
machines.
Your thoughts gents?
