I have a budget of 800 $.
Which AMD system would you build at www.microbytes.com ?

other info:
- I dont need a screen, keyboard or mouse
- I dont need a super fancy video card...wont be much for gaming

Is it worth waiting for the price drop expected on july 24 ?
when will this price drop be reflected in stores ?

The price drop is reportedly substantial according to www.anandtech.com and
www.tomshardware.com

Being a big AMD fan I was compelled to buy the new Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (about
310 USD). The performance is said to be better than any AMD CPU - hence the big
price drop. I'm sure AMD will respond with something next year. The price/speed
is now better however with Intel.

Anyway isn't competition is great!
