What am I missing here? Please Help!

Let me start with a brief scenario.... a friend of mine and I have the same
version of Windows Movie Maker, his is on an HP with Windows Media Center,
mine is on a Cpu that I had built by a local dealer.....OK here is where my
problem begins, in the Task section of Movie Maker 2 he has the option to
burn to DVD, whereas I do not (I mean it's not even on the screen!). Is
there a plug in or something that I am missing that will make the option
appear? I am somewhat illiterate so dumb it up a notch, please.

the option to burn a DVD is only on some Media Center editions... and it's
added by the OEM, using a Plug-in... it's not part of the Movie Maker
software.

there are no such plug-ins that you can get if yours doesn't have it.
