I can never get enough money to build shit ?

Yet the enemy just cranks out attacks with captials and lots of ships
???

I'am just stuck defending till i die ?

What steps should i take to build up my forces and money ?

slightly OT I would say your moniker kinda says it all..... as, in
the end, you DIE for the one..
 
HomeWorld 2 is a bit more complex than its predecessor. What you need to do
is figure which classes of ships are best against your opponents. For
example your opponent may send bombers to attack your capital ships, but
bombers are weak when attacked you fighters (which the bombers hardly
touch).
