First a word of thanks to MS for taking this bold step of
content delivery. This is a complete turn around from
former policy of MS and we appreciate it.
I have two Feature Requests:
1, Prevent accidental or intentional closure of MSAS with
a password. What is the use of a protection system that
my nine year old boy can turn off because it is a pain in
the ass? Also, are we sure malwares will not be able to
disable MSAS?
2. Like some AntiVirus software vendor does, provide a
means to wrap malicious trojan files and send it to MS
validation and analysis. This will help in quickly
creating a genuine malware signature. Else you will land
in a situation where if I don't like a software vendor
all I need do is report his system as malware in the
SpyNet, effectively preventing it being ran on millions
of users' desktops.
More grease to your elbows guys, and one more time,
thanks for this initiative.
