The difference is in the hardware. How old is the board? Chances are if it is any type of recent, the AGP is 8x. The 8x simply states what the bandwidth available to the card is. -Chris

Click to expand... hardware, plus driver software. Older versions of win dont recognise agp cards, so need the mfr's driver.to get it going in all its glory. NT
