What a rip off

nope your reading it right, amazon has it listed at over £1500

to tell you the truth i dont know what quadros are used for

It's for high end CAD PC's mainly, as they can do a few things that standard graphics cards can't when it comes to multiple monitors. Very expensive, but great for CAD/developers :thumb:

So is this GPU better than a MOBO with two PCI-E 16x cards linked using ATI X-Fire or SLI ( assuming SLI is similar to X-Fire?)?
You could build a whole high end system for this money.

PS excuse my ignorance but reading other posts I have the question;- what does 'lol' mean?

Probably not. Try not to think of this as a Gamer's card, it's aimed specifically at a professional market, not us home-boy Gamers ;)

lol = laughs out loud, one of hundreds of text abreviations, like:

tbh - to be honest
atm - at the moment
iirc - if I recall correctly
gfy - ahem :D

So i was reading it right on play.com and as for amazon they are off there off.

No way would i ever pay this for a card.

Just think what money can bought for that price.

You could get a good working pc and a x-box 360 for that much.

Hey Michael, there's another whole world out there.

But, for you, my son, it's really not relevant :D

Carry on as you are, cos as far as they're concerned, you're harmless :)

Ok, one dimension, two dimension, three dimension - go!

by the power of grayskull.... wait....
:D
What is CAD anyway? ive heard of it but i donk know what it is.
