I read this in a posted tread here in
"microsoft.public.windowsxp.security_admin"
Subject: Re: question on wuauclt""
By:Anteaus
If infected (which I think is the right word) with WGA Notifications, then
you will see a wgatray.exe process in Task Manager.""

I have this Wgatray.exe the in Task Manager..
So my question is -- is this a infection? & if so how do i get rid of it
like stated in this tread it dosent show up in any adware/viruses scans..

The wuauclt.exe dosent show in Task Manager or any scan,,except when i do a
search in folder/file it shows in :Search Results"

So i'm guessing if i stop/disable this ,, Than the only way to get
IE/Windows & other updates,,
i will have to check the update site manually

Thanks EZjp

Here's an idea: Open a search engine, like Google, and use wgatray.exe
as the search term.

I said that in jest. Shows that it is sometimes dangerous to do so!

WGATray is the Microsoft Notifier that tells you if they *think* your
software is counterfeit. In principle it is malware-like in that it is
intentionally difficult to remove.

Thank you guys for your reply's,,I always forget about doing search ,,brain
(fart)..
Got it figured out
