I surely cannot be the only one who is concerned that MS has sneakily pushed
a beta version of WGA out to the unsuspecting public can I? This piece of
garbage, purported to be an important security update! It phones home
regularly and 'steals' data off your PC and does all the other things that
spyware does. So much for trustworthy computing.

I am very disappointed with Microsoft.

This is news to you? How about everytime you ever visited their Windows
Update site which requires downloading and installing their ActiveX
control that does the same validation?
