Has anyone noticed a recent run of failures of WD's?
For the last month I have had a steady stream of WD desktop drives.

Coincidence?

Last time I noticed similar was the Fujitsu MPG's.

Re the WD's any easy fix? The problems have varied.

I am buying a WD 40GB and WD60 GB at this time - anyone interested in
selling can send an email to
(e-mail address removed) and I will provide full details for the
hdd's. (USA)

Arggh! Don't say that. I just installed a WD 120 gig drive. WD1200.
Coincidence?

Did you know that the early WD1200 have 3 platters while the later ones have 2?
