were is my updates

i cant belive i havent had any updates yet my curent one is this 1.14.1734.6
created on 10/23/2006 i hit update and says there is no updates it check and
comes back no updates why i thought there should be a update by now what
gives. get back please.
 
Windows Defender definitions have come out, on average, slightly more
frequently than once a week--most frequently, once a week.

Latest version is as follºws

WD v. 1.1.1592.0
Engine v. 1.1.1609.0
Signature v. 1.14.1734.6

Does AutoUpdate work on your system?
 
as far as i know i hit the check for updates and it showes defender icon and
then says no updates. havent seen it look for one by itself yet. as far as
windows updates yes that works auto. my def file and all that seams to be the
curent ones.
 
Windows Defender uses AutoUpdate--so if your automatic updates are, in fact,
coming directly from a Microsoft server, Windows Defender updates should be
as well.
