Ok ... I knew Word well ... before Word 2007 and 2010 (I have 2010 now).

I found the integrated tool that supposedly allows me to select when I
wanted in a menu and MS would show me where it is, in their latest version
(2010). They only drill into one level of the menus, so it's not as useful
as it first appears.

Where do I find, Edit, select, find, replace. I know the keyboard
shortcuts, but I don't always use them, depending on what else I'm doing or
how I'm sitting. I'm so glad I know the shortcuts, ... but where did some
of these things go. I'm not against change, but when I use help to find
these these ... it only helps some of the time. Their help doesn't seem to
be as helpful as it once was.

I didn't mean to sound harsh, but it's been frustrating. I spend more time
looking for stuff, than I do with what should be a simple task.

Thanks for your help ...and humouring me.

I don't have my Word 2010 system on at the moment, but in Word 2007, Find,
Replace, and Select are in the Editing group at the far right end of the
Home tab. There's an arrow beside Select that opens a menu that includes
Select All. With any luck, these are in the same place in Word 2010.

Yes, they're in the same place in 2010.
