WEPOS Installation

I recently received a WEPOS Evaluation disk and am attempting to install it.
I requested and received an Eval product key. However when I try to install
it, I cannot get past the Configure Installation Disk screen. I can create
and delete partitions, but I do not get the option to initialize the disk.
When I try to select a partition and click Next, I get "There is no system
drive" message and cannot get past this. Any assistance would be appreciated.

We're still in the process of creating a seperate newsgroup for WEPOS, in
the meantime can you send this question to their feedback alias? Someone
there can help you.

Scott,

1. Make sure that you have only one disk in your computer.
2 .Make sure that this is fixed disk.

It would be the best if you could try using only one IDE HDD for test.

Let us know how it works.

Thank you for the advice. However this was already the case in this test
system. Just the CD-ROM drive and one hard drive. I'll try posting to the
e-mail address that was mentioned in the previous post.

Scott,

IIRC initialize works only if there is no MBR present in first sector. You could use diskpart from setup command line and try to see
if you can list disk and delete MBR with available option.

Slobodan
PS:
There is a new NG for WEPOS only.
