I am trying to establish a connection to a wireless
network on a compaq tablet PC.
The network is detected and connected, yet the PC won't
allow me to enter the WEP key correctly to view web pages.
any advice or tips?

more information to help other people understand the problem.

Are you using XP's Wireless Zero Configuration or a different wireless
utility program?

How long is your WEP key? How are you trying to enter it -- hex
digits or alpha string? What exactly happens when you do it? If
there's an error message, what does it say?
