I desperately need help!
1. Had 2000 Server with Active Directory (Named
Server).
2. Wanted to add a new IBM Server with 2003 Standard
3. Needed to name the new IBM Server the same name as
the 2000 Server for purposes of a database application.
4. Demoted the 2000 Server to a member server and
changed name to TServer as this server was to become a
terminal services server.
5. Attached the new IBM Server to the network, named it
Server and promoted to Domain Controller.
6. After adding the new IBM Server (2003 Server) to the
network the database program was to be installed on the
server. There was a miss communication with the company
that was to install the database program so we had to put
everything back to the way it was.
7. We disconnected the IBM 2003 Server from the network.
Changed the name of the old server (now named TServer)
back to it's original name Server and promoted it to a
domain controller.
The problem we are experiencing is all Windows 98SE
machines are experiencing stack fault errors.
-Explorer illegal operation - stack fault shodocvw.dll
-Explorer stack fault shlwapi.dll
-Internet Explorer error message - application just closes
-Shell32 stack fault
-grpconv stack fault
-kernl32 error
Any information at all would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Thank you in advance!!!
