welcome screen

can anyone tell me how to keep the computer from going to
the welcome screen upon start up? i dont want to turn it
off, i just want it to go directly to my account, im the
only account. it always used to do it, but for some
reason it doesnt anymore.

Start | Run "control userpasswords2" (no quotes) and click OK. Uncheck the
box that says "Users must enter a user name and password..." Apply and
follow the prompts. Your system will now boot straight to the desktop :-)
 
You can download "Power Toys" from the Microsoft DL
center. After installing "PT" navigate to "Tweak UI" and
goto the logon section.

You may have downloaded the .net software which creates an ASPNET
user name.
