welcome screen logon

sometimes I can logon without a password then other times it ask for your
password, how do I do away with the passwords altogether?

thanks, but it didn't work, it takes me to a different screen, where it needs an administers name and password.,
 
Forget what everyone else said. Here's the easy way to do it.

Start > Control Panel > User Accounts(on category view) > (click which
account you don't want a password on) > click "Remove password"

This worked on my computer, dunno if itl work on yours
 
Is your account limited access or computer administrator?


If its limited access, you need an administrator to remove your password.

I do suggest going back to the link Galen posted, and following the details
very closely.

Are you missing steps 7 & 8 perhaps? You MUST enter the username you want to
log on to AND the password if applicable.
