Welcome Screen Email?

At the welcome screen it displays my screen name (so that I can type in my password), but there is also a sub heading that says I have 1 unread email. What is that about? I don't use Outlook, I don't even have it set up on my computer, it's just there. So where is this email, and what is it? How do I get to it, so I can delete it, or delete any further incoming emails? Thanks.

This is probably an e-mail that's been sent to your Hotmail account if
you've added a passport to your XP user account. (To use MSN Messenger
or something like that.)

You can check your Hotmail account at http://hotmail.com/ .

It's probably just the "Welcome to Outlook" message, either in Outlook or
Outlook Express. Open up the program and delete it.
