Hello all,
I am using MSN Messenger 7.5, and recently it has been messing up on me.
Several of my contacts have told me that sometimes they will try and send me
a message and it won't work, saying: "the following message could not be
delivered to all recipients". And other times it works fine. We can be in the
middle of a conversation and all of a suddent they won't be able to send me
messages, and then a few minutes later it will start working again. It is
like the problem kicks in and out every now and then. So, I loaded MSN 7.5 as
well as Windows Messenger 5.1 with a separate account, and began messaging
back and forth to my self. One minute I could send my self a message, the
next minute I couldn't, and then it would work fine again. I figured it might
be caused by a firewall, so I disabled all windows firewall settings as well
as my Norton Internet Security settings. Further more, seeing as I am using a
wireless laptop, I figured it may be caused by my connection, so I tried
moving around to different areas of my house, as well as connecting to a
neighbours wireless interet connection with a different provider, and things
still didn't change. This is a very annoying problem as I never know if
someone might actually be trying to talk to me or not. If anyone out there
knows of this problem and how to fix it, please let me know.
Thank You
