I have an XP Pro (all updates) computer that has been acting weird for
months. I have been using AdAware, SpyBot S&D, etc. to keep cleaning it.
Lately the user has been complaining that he cannot print from IE. I have
posted the problem, search the internet, etc. and none of the fixes worked
so I decided to re-install IE. I did the reg edit to allow it to re-install.
Started to install and got a message stating that the application had not
passed XP Logo testing. I just thought that was funny because I downloaded
the install file from Microsoft. I ended up getting continuous dll errors
after not completely removing some spyware, could not get System Restore to
work, so I am just doing a complete format and setup on it. I would love to
know how his system got so screwed up though...

Those are the instructions that I was following earlier. I did everything up
to the in place upgrade. THen I chose to do the registry option. Thank you
