Just recovered from a dreaded Trojan. All seems to be fine now except
that when I boot my system an un-requested window opens directly after
the screen icons have appeared on the monitor. In this case the window
shows the "My Documents" files.

It can be easily deleted from screen so is no real problem just
annoying!

Any ides where I can look to stop this happening?

You can run MSCONFIG and in the Startup tab area, see if there's a
reference to "My Documents" that isn't in quotes.

You can do the same thing in REGEDIT. In Regedit, you can modify the
path to include quotes. Just don't add quotes around any switches.
i.e., a proper path might read:

"C:\"My Documents\CrucialScan.exe" -s

That's a fictitious switch, but an example of how a switch needs to be
outside the quotes.
