Weird problem with wireless printing

I have an Acer c300 (a tablet PC) and a printer plugged into an
SMC router that has a built in print server. I got the whole thing
working, so I can print wirelessly, but it seems to not work about a
third of the time. I'll get an error message in the win xp printers
display, just saying "error" where it should say "printting" Also, if
I then right click and cancel the print job, it sometimes deletes it,
but sometimes just says "deleting" and stays like that. The only way
I can then get the wireless printing working again is to reboot the
laptop.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Neil

- what does the SMC router log indicate (if anything) when this
problem occurs.

- is there anything in the XP event viewer for the error.

- check SMC's FAQ for your router.

I don't know your model SMC, but I do have experience with the older
7004-7008 series w/ the print server. There was a problem with the
manual (incorrect instructions) for getting the print server up &
running under newer windows OS's.
