First I would like to say hi! Its my first post here and I hope som
of you pros can help. I am very good with computers, but this one ha
me stumped. Here goes
My computer is doing some weird things lately, three big ones. Th
first is that whenever I play music or a game, my screen freezes fo
a split second (5 or so frames) every 3 or so seconds. The soun
doesnt stop, but the mouse and keyboard do. The second is that th
computer is taking three times as long to boot up (im not talkin
about gui startup, im taking about from cold boot to the log o
screen), and the third is that my computer doesnt like to sav
control panel options (every times I restart I have to go to th
mouse settings and turn mouse trail off each time, and it took
restarts to get my services back after i turned them off
Now those are the problems - here is some more background info - th
first problem happens in safe mode and after about 5 minutes goe
away - when i turned on on-board sound it cut out a ridiculiou
amout, everytimes i open a folder the audio would cut out. All part
are new exept the MB, CPU, RAM, and HD. Everything else has bee
changed and checked. Im guessing its the motherboard, but the las
problem sounds like a HD problem, but the HD is fairly new
