I have a windows 2000 client that is using the windows Remote Desktop to
connect to a windows 2000 Terminal server.

The user can print test pages just fine, and he can print emails just fine,
but for some reason he can not print any attachments from his emails. He has
a excel spread sheet that when he tries to print it, it will show up in the
que and then just disapears without printing.

Do you happen to be using SP3?

If you are, then check out this knowledgebase article:

support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];328020

You can either get the hotfix or install SP4.

he can not print anything from Excel or Word.

Well I installed SP4 on the terminal server and I still am having the same
problem.
A client machine can not print word or excel. I however am on the LAN and I
can print excel and word from terminal server.

Any other ideas?

Does this happen to all clients who are not on the LAN, or
just this person?

Have you tried changing the printer driver to see if that
changes anything?
