Hi Brenda,
Try reinstalling that device by removing it and allowing Windows
XP to detect it as new hardware and subsequently reinstall it.
Right click on My Computer / Manager / Device Manager,
choose those items which are causing the noise from the list,
you'll most likely find them listed under Sound Video and Game
Controllers. Right click on each of them and choose "Uninstall".
