I got a weird issue. I deployed an application through "user configuration"->"software settings"->"software installatin". It used to be there by just accepting default permission setting. However, after I decided not to give anyone permissions including admins and removed everything except "system", the application object disappeared. But now, I can't go anywhere to bright it up so that I can apply new security settings. Anyone got an idea?
Thanks

Hi Fred , Install Windows Server Support Tools located at your Windows
Server CD. Start -> Run !type! ADSIEdit.msc !enter! Connect to the Domain
Naming Context and browse to the follow location

DC=<DOMAIN>,DC=<DOMAIN>\CN=SYSTEM\CN=Policies\CN=<POLICY_GUID>\CN=<Machine
or User>\CN=Class Store\CN=Packages

It should appears here.

<DOMAIN> = Your domain name ex: DC=company,DC=com
<POLICY_GUID> Group Policy GUID can be found as unique name if you click
Properties of the particular GPO in AD Users and Computers.
<Machine or User> Depends if you the particular package are added to
computer configuration part or user configuration part of the policy.
