weird message at sign on tonight

Help!!! When I started my computer tonight, a box popped up that read: "Unable to locate system class: java/lang/Object
Can anyone help me with this? How do I get rid of it? I didn't do anything different than I've done the last 2 years

If it persists, consider download and install of the latest, standard JAVA
implementation...
