When I start my PC, the whole screen shows the word in a strange font with
symbols and not in English. For an example, "s" is shown as "?". I am able
to write in this window and am I also able to see the words in English, but
all the words on the login page, start menu, programs' names, etc. are in the
weird font. PLEASE HELP ME!!! and thanks in advance to whoever helps me with
this problem.

If this happened all of a sudden, first try a System Restore to when things
worked.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
"Restore my computer to an earlier time"

If the System Restore doesn't work, post back. Please include any error
messages you may have received from System Restore.

System Restore takes the machine back to a time when presumably everything
worked. Since you are having a hard time figuring out where things are,
try:

Start>Run>cmd [enter]

c:\Windows\System32\restore\rstrui.exe [enter]

This will start System Restore. Even if you can't read the fonts, the
default is already set to restore your computer. Click the Next button and
choose a date in Bold before the problem. I think you'll be able to figure
out where things should be even if you can't quite read them.

i will try that..and just a minute ago the font of the main start menu and
the Toolbar changed to english by itself.

I tired:
Start>Run>cmd [enter]

c:\Windows\System32\restore\rstrui.exe [enter]

but my DOS window shows: C:\Documents and Settings\My Name>

so when i write c:\Windows\System32\restore\rstrui.exe

the message "The system cannot find the path specified." is shown.
