Hi,

I'm using IE6 on Windows XP. I've some problem when viewing certain
websites, the fonts appears as if they have shadows and looks blurred, thus
very difficult to read. I tried to meddle around with the font settings of IE
but no avail. I'm sure this is a problem of my IE settings as the web looks
fine on another computer as well as Firefox on my own computer. I would very
much appreciate if anyone can help. Thanx.

Hi izaaco :)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Check in IE>Tools>Internet Options>General tab>Accessibility
For normal viewing nothing should be checked in these sections. Also check
the setting in Control Panel>Accessibility Options>Display is set to Windows
Standard and make sure the High Contrast is not checked.

Other possibilities at http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers/53.html

If you are experiencing jagged or blurry fonts or images only within MS
Internet Explorer read this.

Thanx for your reply Jan, I tried the methods listed but the problem is still
there. Is there any other way to resolve this? Maybe reset IE to default
settings or something along this line? So sorry to trouble you. Thanx so much.
