hey
somebody else just hepled me fix this problem - go to
internet options - click on the accessibility button -
there will be four boxes in there - they should all be
unchecked. I had the default checked and once I unchecked
my browser was back to normal! Hope you have the same
luck. It was driving me nuts.

Actually, it turns out it's not a user stylesheet problem
(that's the first place I looked). Actually, it was a
downloaded (**&$%*@*&$(*&!~!!!!! HIJACKERS!!!) stylesheet
that got rape dropped off the web.

The solution was to run a scan with Hijack This! and
remove the offending issues.

Hijack This! also works to get rid of other hijacker
issues, like searchv and coolwebsearch (CWShredder does
it faster, but the result is the same). Everybody should
get this software.

Thanks anyway :)
