If I leave the computer running while I go put on the
coffee or tend to chores I come back to find it frozen,
the mouse pointer stuck where I left it on the screen.
Reboot or Control-Alt-Delete do not work, it gets stuck
in that process too. The only thing that does free it up
is to switch off the electrics at the plug, virtually
unplug it, wait, and then switch it on again and log back
on to the system, as I've just done for the third time
today. My suspicions are that it might have something to
do with our Microsoft Intellimouse Trackball Explorer,
but hey, I'm not sure. This problem has gone on for more
than a month now, probably several... The only other
main utilities on the system are Norton. HELP!?

spyware that keept locking it up.After running it,no more
