Week Number from Short Date format

Hi all please help this newbie !

I have built a simple dbase in Access 97 that captures overtime records
against a date field which is in dd/mm/yy format.

What I would like to do is build a query that lets the user enter a
weeknumber eg 06 which would then extract all records between the
2/2/04 to 8/2/04 inc.


Could anybody advise a way of doing this, I have tried several fix's
including DATEPART and FORMAT although I may have made syntax errors.
