a mom that needs more help!

I just sent a message about by blurry photos...my next
problem or question is...is there a way to save this
movie so that we can see it on our DVD player (someone
told me that a VCD format would work). Can I save my
movie in a VCD format, or do I need to buy a DVD creator
software, and buy a DVD burner so that I can show my
movie on a DVD player at our wedding reception? Remember
I have about 100 photos--all scanned in--with music.
ALSO Remember....I am very new at this, but was very
impressed with how easy the Movie maker was to use. I
just need to be able to show my movie now, hopefully
clearer than it plays on my computer screen, and
hopefully without having to spend alot of money on new
software and burner to play this at our wedding
reception. Thanks for any help!!!

A mom-

See the 'saving movies' section of Papa Johns' WMM2 website

There is also info on DVD software

Good luck,

I think a better thing to do would be to purchase
Microsoft Plus DIGITAL MEDIA EDITION. With that program
you can EASILY make a story, import pictures in any order
you want. The program allows you to choose how many
seconds each picture will stay on the screen AND it has a
zoom feature that allows you to choose different zoom
patterns if you want and then you can add any mp3 song
you want at the end. You then get an option to create a
VCD which will play in most DVD players. I had to
actually get another shareware program to combine TWO
songs because the pictures were many and the song
repeated four times before the whole slide show was done.
The only advantage Windows Movie Maker has is that it
will allow you to add title screens and credits at the
end just like a real movie. Microsoft Plus sells for
$19.95 and does a lot for that price. Make sure you get
the Digital Media Edition AND then you have to go to
Microsoft.com and get the update to allow you to make the
VCD's. Hope this helps you. It's a really fast program to
use. You can knock it out in an hour or so if you want to
start over.
