I am getting married next summer and I am really excited
about setting up a website about my wedding. I am
currently looking for some interesting banners and
pictures, or animations to put on the site. I am really
interested in finding a banner that we can put our names
on, at the top of the main page.

I am brand new at the webpage design, and I realize
making my first website a really neat website might be
hard to do, but I am willing to put in the time it
requires.

I would greatly appreciate the name of a site where I can
access some of this material, or any other useful bits of
advice people have.

Thanks,
Trevor.

Get yourself a good image editing program such as Paint Shop Pro v.8 or
Photo Impact v.8

it's funny you should be interested in this. I just finished a web to serve
as an invitation to a golf competition.

You can find a lot of images by using this:

the copyright issues are another matter. You're probably going to want to
acquire and learn to use a graphics editor so you can manipulate and edit
images for your web page.
I guess the first things to tell you would be to always work on your page
and publish it from within a FrontPage web, that way you won't get links
accidentally pointing to your local machine. you should probably use a
table to lay out your page.
get started publish it to the web and keep messing with it. people here
will give you an honest opinion.

You might want to use Google to search for pictures you
might use as banners using search phrases such
as "wedding".

I'm not sure if you mean you want a banner, like an advertising banner, if
so, heere's a google search for free banner generators:

You might be looking for a "theme" instead. There are many out there, some
free, some for just a few dollars. You don't even have to use a FP theme,
you can just search for themed graphics, such as this one:

picked from a search).
