I've been noticing that WW Classic seems to interfere with JavaScript
buttons/links on both ie6 and myie2. For example, with WW's Standard Filter
enabled, I can't get responses from the Help button on Hotmail and when I
open Accuweather for my area, I get a lot of script in the first half of the
page. Disenabling WW Standard filter, none of these problems occur.
Perhaps it is the way I configured WW, but I've tried doing and undoing lot
of the settings, but it all seems to come down to something in the Standard
Filter. Help please. Thanks,
Adam

Forgot to add that when in Google Groups, clicking on opening all the
threads fails. Have to first open main thread and then open the rest.

I've read good things about Proxomitron, but was hesitant about getting it
because it seemed that the set up was somewhat complicated. Know where I
can find documentation that is clear?

Got ten minutes ?

http://www.proxomitron.info/45/help/Installation.html

You can ignore every other Proxo page until you get used to what it
does by default.

I can empathise totally. I was in exactly your position with an outdated
WebWasher, then the long-awaited upgrade, which was a disaster. I really
couldn't be bothered learning & coming to grips with Prox and was under
the impression that it was a lot of work to set up.

Quite the opposite it turns out! The impression I'd gained was from all
the detailed talk of "configuring", which *does* represent a set of
powerful, extensive and complex features. As others have commented
though, configuring is entirely optional and it runs beautifully from
the default install. It certainly cured my WW woes. If you set up WW,
you can set up Prox in as many or fewer steps. Be like me and submit to
the coersion of ACF Prox users. You'll be glad you converted!
