I have managed to get FP 2002 installed to my new computer and have
transferred my website to the local disk from the old computer. When trying
to publish it to the website through FP, FP is not accepting the password
provided by my hosting service, could even be the the user name. It is not
advising me exactly what the problem is. The sign in box keeps popping back
up with the password area blank. This is the same password that is on my
old computer and was working fine. Oddly, the website is functioning
properly when accessing the individual pages. It is just that I cannot do
any editing through FP on the new computer.

Please advise-
Thank you-

Open the live site directly in FP and publish back to your new computer.

That's just it, Tom. It will not open as a live site in the new computer.
Is the old computer the location of the live site that I need to open? And
if so, what location do I use to publish it to? The new computer's
identification number or just the website's url?

As an aside, the complete site is currently on the local disc in the new
computer. Again, when I ask it to publish it to my website's url, it says
that there is no website at the location.

Thanks-
Norma
