website visitor statistics

How do I set up some type of website statistics for my frontpage/IIS
website?

On my xoops/apache site it automatically records visitor numbers per hour,
referrals, browser types etc.

I'd like to setup something similar for my frontpage sites.

You need to ask your ISP if they have a stats package available. If it's
your own server you'll have to buy one like WebTrends or another stats
package

I have my own iis server.

shame....makes me want to dump IIS and move all of my sites to open source
every day.

my www.aussienymeetup.net site runs on www.xoops.org and works great.

Try AWstats. It's free http://awstats.sourceforge.net/ You can turn on
logging in IIS and then, in FrontPage use reports to look at different
statistics but it's not as pretty as a real stats program. Here's an
