Website screensaver ?

Scenario: Computer is in a studio, and is not connected to the internet.
A full copy of the graphically heavy website is installed onto the
computer under xampp (as the site uses php).

Would like: A screensaver (or something similar) that will randomly
display pages from that site - and only that site - when the machine is
not being used.

Does such code exist ?

Thanks

Random is the catch. Therefore easiest poss. is to make screenshots of
all pages, then create a screensaver using the screenshots.

This guy/gal who apperently is the webmaster of easyscreenSNIP.com made a
couple of these posts the last days. I replied to the first two with the
word 'SPAM' added to the subject. I was wondering that was right or wrong.
Just curious when a post is defined as SPAM or not. Also I saw a lot of
replies to his post, including the URL to the product's site in the
replies.

Questions:

1. Are his/her postings spam ? and: Why ?
2. How should these posts be handled ? (subject-changing. replies, even
more replies with about the same reaction ?)

Wrong. Never reply to a spammer; it adds to 'noise'.
Report him by all means.
Adding the word 'SPAM' to the subj line might start a new thread for
those who thread by subj... who might have filtered the initial post.

This case is easy... a tosser advertising a commercial product in a
group that just doesn't do commercial products
Also I saw a lot of

Sure. John F just did it; this is known as 'being a newbie and helping
the spammer'. Never repost a spammer's links.
Questions:

1. Are his/her postings spam ?
Yes

and: Why ?

As above
2. How should these posts be handled ? (subject-changing. replies, even
more replies with about the same reaction ?)

Report them if you can be bothered. Don't change the subj line if you
reply; replying can be useful to let the group know that it is not a
freeware product. Don't add to threads about it.

Any publicity is good publicity for this kind of individual. Deny them
it

Generally that would be correct. Not however in this case. Rod should
note that I deleted all the "hype" from the original post. Though I
would normally have deleted the URL I decided to leave it in case I
was wrong and there really had been a free screensaver at that site.
I wasn't 100% sure there wasn't.

Although jo doesn't seem to have noticed. Or just ignored the fact.
People here HAVE posted that a site has no freeware when in fact
they do have it. Leaving the URL in this particular case allows people
to confirm my suspicions OR simply ignore the site.

Of course you could do what jo did. Nothing. Then everyone here will
potentially waste their time going to the site. IMO my response was
better than jo's.

Regards, John.

OK, two replies, two different opinions, I'm taking the easy way out. I
won't reply to these posts and let everybody else decide what to do with
it.

A single freeware app at the site would make it a valid post in your
opinion?
The freeware town spammers must love you.
A spammer is a spammer, even if they might be spamming freeware.

I noticed the spam on the 11th, checked the site, noticed Rod's response
and decided not to add to the 'noise'.
Perhaps you missed the spam of the 11th, and Rod's response?

Plenty of sites have a single freeware app. Nothing wrong with that.
If the site had a free screensaver download, and the poster told us
about it, then the poster would have been on topic.

How did you ascertain he was a spammer ? Due to the multi posts ?
Spamming is not the only reason why one might see more than one
post about a web site.
